Eyeglasses Pads

Eyeglasses Pads are an essential eyewear part that enable a frame to be comfortably worn by a sunglass or glasses wearer.

Eyeglass pads are available in a myriad of mounting types, sizes, shapes, and materials.

Common pads for eyeglasses have a symmetric shape such as in round nose pads or oval nose pads. Other frequently found shapes include D-shape, softwing, strap bridge, symmetrical, and teardrop.

Pads for glasses and sunglasses are also available in many different mounting styles. The most prevalent nose pad mounts are slide-on, push-on, and screw-on.

Pads for spectacle and reading glasses are fabricated from many different materials and often are comprised of two or more materials in one nose pad. Common materials used in pads for eyewear are soft silicone, PVC, polycarbonate, and to a lesser extent titanium.

Lastly, different pad sizes are abundant and are typically available to meet the physical and aesthetic requirements of most pairs of prescription glasses and non-prescription glasses and sunwear.
