Nose Pad Adjustment Pliers
Opticians use Nose Pad Adjusting Pliers to adjust the position and orientation of nose pads that are attached to eyewear frames by means of adjustable nose pad mounting arms.

Unlike needle nose pliers that grip the thin wire-like metal that fits between the nose pad mounting arm and the eyeglass frame, the nose pad adjusting pliers grips both the nosepad and nosepad mounting receptacle together whereby these two structures are moved together in order to properly match the contour and position of the nosepads to the contour of the wearer's face.

Since nose pad adjusting pliers must match both the shape of the nosepad and associated type of nose pad mount, opticians use different shaped plier ends to meet the requirements of various nosepad and nose pad mounting receptacles.
