Nose Pad Buyers Guide for Glasses, Designer Eyewear, & Sunglasses
Logic Nose Pads
From the front, Logic nose pads look like any other nose pad; however, the backside of a Logic(R) nose pad contains both a push-on mounting flange as well as a screw-on mounting flange.
The push-on nose pad mounting flange is often referred to as a snap-in tab, while the screw-on nose pad mounting flange is sometimes referred to as a screw-in tab mount.
Depending on the particular type of Logic nose pad employed, the unused mounting tab may need to be cut off.
Logic nosepads are primarily used by optical repair shops and optical dispensers since one pair of Logic nose pads eliminates the need to stock two sets of nose pads of the same style but differing nose pad mounts. This advantage of Logic nose pads may effectively reduce an optical store's inventory of certain nose pads by 50%!
Logic glasses pads are rarely directly purchased by consumers as a consumer has only one type of nose pad mount on their pair of glasses.
